Job summary

Prudential is seeking a Head of Technology Strategy & Planning to shape PLUK’s technology delivery direction and ensure alignment with business priorities. You will oversee planning, governance, and multi-year budgeting, with a small team including a UI/UX designer, reporting to the CITO to drive enterprise-wide visibility and execution of roadmaps.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in technology strategy and planning.
• Strong capability in managing partner-led delivery engagements and value realization.
• Excellent presentation skills for executive audiences.
• Knowledge of UX/UI, design systems, user journeys, and usability evaluation.
• Leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving.
• IT strategy and digital transformation expertise.
• IT budgeting, CAPEX/OPEX management, and financial governance.
• Portfolio management, KPI development, and performance scorecarding.
• Lean / Six Sigma, TOGAF, ITIL, PMP, COBIT.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or similar degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain PLUK’s enterprise technology strategy roadmap up to 3 years.
• Lead quarterly performance and business reviews (QPBR) for the CITO.
• Create executive-level presentations for ExCo, Board committees, regulators and Townhalls.
• Oversee KPI planning, metrics, and reporting for strategic outcomes and efficiency.
• Manage IT budgeting cycles including CAPEX and OPEX forecasting.
• Govern technology portfolio and risk assessments; ensure compliance and standards.
• Lead modernization and digital transformation initiatives with partners.
• Oversee vendor-driven technology initiatives and measurable business value.
• Provide UI/UX governance through the embedded designer and ensure user-centered workflows.
• Lead design reviews aligning customer experience with product and IT teams.
• Guide and nurture a 2+ member team.
• Coordinate with strategic pillars to create a unified Org strategy.
