Job summary

Trends Group, Inc. is seeking a cloud solutions professional to design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructures.

You will design cloud architectures, manage multi-cloud environments (GCP/AWS/Azure), and ensure compliance while coordinating with cross-functional IT teams. The role emphasizes IaC with Terraform/Ansible, Docker/Kubernetes for containerization, DevOps practices, and producing technical artifacts such as MOP, BOM, and design documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Post-graduate units or degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in cloud technologies.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure or other cloud hyperscalers.
• Experience with IaC tools: Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Experience with containerization: Docker, Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
• Proven ability to deliver projects per SOW/SLA.
• Experience creating technical artifacts like MOP, BOM, Project Plan, etc.
• Professional/expert cloud certifications; continuous development.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-based solutions to meet business requirements.
• Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure (servers, storage, networking).
• Monitor and optimize cloud system performance.
• Ensure security and compliance of cloud solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues.

• Participate in on-call rotation for 24/7 cloud support.
• Assist in scope creation for professional, support and managed services.
• Assist in cost & price modeling (CAPEX/OPEX).
• Support design and development of complex cloud solutions.
• Oversee creation/updates of MOP, BOM, SOW, proposals, design, architecture, SLA, deliverables.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Technical Expertise: Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends and maintain a deep understanding of different cloud platforms & industry trends, and implement & manage complex solutions that are scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructures.

• a. Design and implement cloud-based solutions to meet business requirements.
• b. Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking.

1. Services Scope Creation: Assistance in creating scope for professional, support and managed services.
2. 3. Cost & Price Modeling: Assistance in creating models for capex or opex.
3. 4. Solution Design: Assistance in the design and development of complex cloud solutions, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and cost-effective.
4. 5. Artifacts Creation: oversee the creation, or improvement and presentation of technical documentation such as Methods of Procedure (MOP), Scope of Work (SOW), solution or technical presentation & proposals, design & architecture, bill of materials, RACI, SLA, deliverables, etc.
5. 6. Performance Management: Set clear goals and expectations for the team, monitor performance, and provide feedback to drive continuous professional improvement and learning & certification.
6. 7. Process Improvement: Assistance in identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency within the Cloud Technology Group and Professional & Support Services Team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A. Minimum Education

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or any related field.
2. 2. Post-graduate units or degree is a plus.

B. Minimum Experience, Training and Certification

1. 1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in cloud technologies.
2. 2. Proven experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure, or other cloud hyperscalers.
3. 3. Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible or native infrastructure deployment automation tools e.g. CloudFormation.
4. 4. Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes.
5. 5. Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
6. 6. Proven experience in delivering projects as per Scope of Work (SOW), timeline, Service Level Agreements (SLA) related to professional, support or managed services.
7. 7. Proven experience in creating technical artifacts like Methods of Procedure (MOP), Bill of Materials (BOM), Project Plan, etc.
8. 8. Professional or Expert Technical Certifications in relevant cloud technologies (e.g., Google Cloud Platform AWS, Azure or other cloud hyperscalers).
9. 9. Proven continuous professional development in cloud technologies and related solutions.
