Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• 3–6 years of FP&A, cost governance, or technology finance experience in a complex environment.
• Expertise in reconciliations, tracing balances to source documents, and data synthesis.
• Practical knowledge of CAM, cost allocations, and activity-based costing.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate monthly IT expenses to identify cost drivers, trend shifts, and unusual spend patterns.
• Do cross-system reconciliations between central ledgers and source files, noting discrepancies.
• Audit CAM distribution rules to ensure charges follow established cost-sharing frameworks.
• Cross-examine expense allocations against consumption metrics, licenses, or assets to detect errors or unmapped items.
• Collaborate with allocation owners to resolve misaligned mappings, duplicate charges, or obsolete rules.
• Inspect transactions (invoices, POs, contracts, usage logs) for proper authorization and documentation.
• Ensure expenditures are booked against correct entity, cost center, and project code.
• Establish a structured monthly governance calendar with templates, deadlines, and action tracking.
• Audit monthly postings for approvals, challenge variances, and update allocation logic or scope.
• Author a monthly MI report highlighting validated spend, adjustments, risks, and remediation steps.
