Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Technology Risk & Governance Manager to manage low- to medium-complexity consulting engagements involving IT governance, technology risk, information security, cybersecurity governance, and resilience management.
The role will be responsible for tailoring consulting work programs to client requirements, managing project delivery, providing technical briefings, overseeing client and team expectations, and ensuring the quality of engagement outputs. The Manager will also provide coaching and performance feedback to team members while working closely with Senior Managers and Partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage low- to medium-complexity consulting engagements involving technology risk, IT governance, information security, cybersecurity governance, and resilience management.
- Tailor work programs and methodologies based on the client's business, technology, and risk environment.
- Plan, manage, and monitor project activities to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
- Conduct technical briefings and provide guidance to engagement teams on technology risk and governance requirements.
- Manage staff, client, and partner expectations throughout the engagement.
- Serve as a key client contact and directly communicate project status, findings, recommendations, and other engagement matters.
- Review project deliverables and ensure alignment with engagement objectives and quality standards.
- Identify technology and governance risks and provide practical recommendations to clients.
- Manage project resources, timelines, billings, and collections.
- Lead people management activities, including coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback.
- Conduct feedback sessions with team members and support their professional development.
- Coordinate with Senior Managers and Partners on engagement strategy, delivery, and client matters.
- Support business development and other technology risk and governance initiatives as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in business consulting or IT assurance projects involving IT governance, technology risk, information security, cybersecurity governance, IT security, or resilience management.
- Strong understanding of technology risk, IT governance frameworks, information security, and internal controls.
- Experience managing consulting projects, teams, and client relationships.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong time management, critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and people management capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and priorities in a consulting environment.
Preferred Certifications
- ISO 27001 Lead Auditor / Lead Implementer
- ISO 22301 Lead Auditor / Lead Implementer
- Certified in Cybersecurity (CC)
- CompTIA certifications
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Reporting Structure
The Technology Risk & Governance Manager will be part of the Digital Trust Services Practice - Consulting Team under the Advisory Services Division.
The role will report directly to the Senior Manager and/or Partner of the assigned engagement.
