Job summary

Dempsey Resource Management in the Philippines is seeking an IT Audit professional to lead risk-based IT audits across governance, cybersecurity, ERP, and operations.

The role requires 3+ years in IT audit, strong knowledge of COBIT/ISO 27001, and familiarity with ITGCs; professional certifications are a plus.

You will prepare audit reports, present findings to management, and coordinate with departments to drive compliant, secure IT processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant IT or accounting field.
• At least 3 years of experience in Internal Audit, IT Audit, IT Risk Management, IT Compliance, or IT Governance.
• Knowledge of COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001, and information security principles.
• Understanding of ITGCs and internal controls; familiarity with IIA/ISACA audit standards.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CRISC, or CGEIT are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform IT audits across IT governance, cybersecurity, ERP, and IT operations.
• Review IT policies and procedures for adequacy, effectiveness and regulatory compliance.
• Assess IT governance, risk management, and internal control processes using COBIT, ITIL, and ISO 27001.
• Evaluate IT general controls (ITGCs) including access, change management, development, backup and disaster recovery.
• Identify control weaknesses, technology risks, and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor implementation of audit recommendations and validate action plans.
• Coordinate with MIS and other units during audit engagements.
