Job summary

Ams Osram's LSPLight Sensors & Power Solutions division seeks a qualified hardware professional to join the test hardware support team in Laguna, Philippines. You will perform incoming inspection, maintenance, debugging, and support cross-functional projects to improve production readiness.

Candidates should have an Associate or Bachelor's degree in engineering and at least 3 years in semiconductor manufacturing, with experience in hardware debugging, preventive maintenance, inventory control,

Qualifications

• 3+ years in semiconductor manufacturing, focusing on test hardware support, debugging, and preventive maintenance.
• Experience across hardware debugging, maintenance, validation and inventory control.
• Team-oriented with ability to support cross-functional activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming inspection, registration, and tracking of Load Boards, Probe Cards, and other test hardware to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Conduct preventive maintenance (PM), cleaning, troubleshooting, and minor repairs to maintain hardware reliability and production readiness.
• Support production NOGO activities, hardware modifications, debugging, and hardware validation prior to production release.
• Assist Engineers and cross-functional teams in resolving hardware-related issues to support production and operational goals.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of critical spare parts, hardware components, and consumables to support production requirements.
• Support hardware transfer activities, engineering projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to cost‑saving and productivity improvement initiatives through effective problem solving and adherence to operational processes.
• Ensure compliance with company quality, safety, and 5S standards and requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in engineering, or Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Computer, Electrical, or a related technical field
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the semiconductor manufacturing industry, specializing in test hardware support, hardware debugging, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
• Experience in multiple technical functions, including hardware debugging, preventive maintenance, production support, hardware validation, inventory control, and continuous improvement projects within a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
