Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. in the Philippines seeks a PLP Equipment Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and continuously improve semiconductor manufacturing equipment used in wafer-level packaging.

You will work on WLCSP tools such as lithography, grinders, bonders, molders, plasma cleaners, and testers. Bachelor's degree in Electronics or related field is required; willingness to work a 12-hour night shift is essential; experience in Photo Lithography, Sputtering, Plate and Strip and

• Experience in Photo Lithography, Sputtering, Plate and Strip and Etch is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and continuously improve semiconductor manufacturing equipment used in wafer-level packaging.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on WLCSP equipment (e.g., lithography tools, grinders, bonders, molders, plasma cleaners, testers).
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and software-related equipment issues.
• Minimize equipment downtime through rapid root cause analysis and effective corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate equipment logs, maintenance records, and documentation.
• Support night shift activities such as circulation of chemical baths, tool alarms, and troubleshooting.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Technology, or related field.
• Must be willing to work a 12 hrs night shift.
• Must have experience is Photo Lithography, Sputtering, Plate and Strip and Etch Travel Time: 0% - 25%.
