Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a Technician II-Equipment for our Philippines facility. The role focuses on sustaining electro-mechanical equipment across Front of Line, End of Line, or Test assemblies, with hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting responsibilities.

The ideal candidate holds Electronics/Electrical/Mechatronics training and has 5+ years in semiconductors, ready to work on complex tooling in a high-precision environment.

Qualifications

• Electronics/Electrical or mechatronics tech degree or diploma.
• 5+ years in a semiconductor environment.
• Experience in Front of Line / End of Line or Test Assembly.
• Ability to read blueprints, layouts, and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electro-mechanical equipment across manufacturing lines (PM as assigned).
• Dismantle, adjust, repair and reassemble equipment per plans/manuals.
• Operate test/diagnostic equipment to perform checks on equipment.

Perform PM as assigned.-Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings.-Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.
