Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. in the Philippines is seeking a Graduate Process Engineer to sustain the production line by validating wafer visual mechanical defects and making disposition decisions based on specs.

You will support process engineers, perform audits of test processes, assist in packaging material qualification, and promote 5S, safety and continuous improvement in a fast-paced semiconductor environment.

Qualifications

• Technology graduate in electronics, electrical, mechanical, or computer or equivalent.
• Internship or project experience in semiconductor manufacturing is an advantage.
• Familiarity with wafer probe equipment and production operations is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Verifies non-electrical hold lot issues and provides disposition and containment actions.
• Performs test process and procedural audits to verify proper execution.
• Verifies OCAP implementation and reports discrepancies observed.

1.0 Primary Function

Sustains the line by validating wafer visual mechanical defects and breakdowns due to process-induced issue and misprocessing of lots provides disposition based on specs requirements or limits accomplishes the target performance metrics required by the manager performs regular audit to ensure compliance to the current specs and reports discrepancy on existing specs or procedures vs. the actual practice.`

2.0 Educational Background

. Technology graduate in the fields of electronics, electrical, mechanical, or computer or its equivalent.

3.0 Experience

. Entry-level: No professional experience required. Internship or project experience in semiconductor manufacturing, or process engineering, is an advantage.

4.0 Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

. Familiar with semiconductor manufacturing or assembly environment is an advantage
. Computer literate must be assertive, fast learner, highly motivated, adaptable, and detail oriented
. Must possess good verbal and written communication skills and is a team player
. Familiarity with wafer probe equipment, trim and probe process, and production operations is an advantage

5.0 Major Duties and Responsibilities

. Verifies non-electrical hold lot issues and provides disposition and containment actions to affected lots with basis on specs or any written approved documents. Escalates issue to process engineer for any doubt or confusion
. Performs test process and procedural audits to verify proper execution of procedures and to achieve feedbacks for the continuous improvement of the process. Verifies implementation and effectiveness of existing OCAP and reports for any discrepancy observed
. Provides assistance to process engineer in qualifying or requalifying packaging materials
. Practices 5S in the office and work station and suggests new opportunities for improvement
. Performs activities as assigned by immediate supervisor or manager
. Ensures that the company's commitment on environmental management, health and safety is observed and performed
