About the role

FIBEX Broadband Inc. is looking for an experienced Technician responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of broadband and fiber optic internet services. The role involves conducting field visits, ensuring proper connectivity and equipment functionality, and providing quality technical assistance to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Install and maintain broadband and fiber optic internet connections

• Perform troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of internet and network equipment

• Conduct site visits for installations, repairs, and service concerns

• Check and ensure proper signal strength, connectivity, and equipment functionality

• Identify and resolve technical issues efficiently

• Provide professional assistance and technical support to customers

• Complete service reports and documentation after every installation or repair

• Follow company procedures and safety standards

• Perform other technical tasks assigned by the supervisor

About you

• Relevant work experience as a Technician, preferably in broadband, telecommunications, networking, or fiber optic installation

• Knowledge and experience in fiber optic installation, splicing, and troubleshooting is an advantage

Familiarity with basic networking and telecommunications equipment

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Responsible, hardworking, and reliable

• Can work independently and as part of a team

• Willing to work on weekends, holidays, or extended hours when required
