Job summary

Outtask HR Services, Inc. is seeking a Technical Team Lead to head the multidisciplinary engineering team in the Philippines back-office, delivering design, drawings, calculations and submittals for pools, spas and water features.

The role combines hands-on leadership with strong technical oversight across Civil, Mechanical, Finishing and Electrical disciplines. The successful candidate will review senior engineers’ work, resolve design conflicts, and coordinate with the Riyadh-based project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum eight years of engineering experience, including at least four years in a technical management or senior engineering coordination role spanning multiple disciplines (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical).
• Strong hands-on technical experience in pool or aquatic system design, including hydraulic calculations, filtration sizing, equipment selection, piping design and water treatment.
• Demonstrated proficiency in technical coordination, design coordination, shop drawing review, BIM coordination, material submittals, RFIs and authority approvals.
• Strong working knowledge of mechanical systems (Piping, pumps, valves, plumbing), electrical systems (cables, panels, lighting, ELV, controls) and civil/structural/finishing elements relevant to construction projects.
• Experience reviewing contract documents (Contract, Specifications, IFC Drawings, BOQ) and managing discrepancies, RFIs and variations.
• Experience working with clients in the Middle East, GCC, or on international projects is strongly preferred.
• Fluent written and spoken English; able to communicate clearly and professionally with senior stakeholders, clients and main contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full technical workflow for pools, spas, water features and aquatic projects across Civil, Mechanical, Finishing and Electrical disciplines from concept to IFC drawings, submittals and as-built docs.
• Direct hydraulic design and analysis for pool circulation, filtration and overflow systems, including pump sizing and tank design.
• Oversee filtration and water treatment system design, including filtration media, chemical dosing and disinfection.
• Direct equipment selection and specification, pumps, filters, heaters, automation and LED lighting.
• Oversee piping system design, sizing, velocity limits and maintenance access.
• Lead civil, structural and finishing review of pool shells with coordination with structural consultants.
• Lead electrical scope coordination, including motor controls, lighting and BMS integration.
• Identify and resolve cross-disciplinary issues, BIM clashes and material non‑compliance.
• Maintain technical standards, templates and libraries for consistency and efficiency.
• Review contract documents and ensure alignment with project requirements and authority approvals.
• Direct BIM coordination, model federation and clash resolution across disciplines.
