Job summary

2GO Group is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to diagnose and fix heavy equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and train junior technicians in the Philippines. You will lead overhauls, reconditioning, and parts selection while ensuring a safe, clean work area and strong team collaboration with LBE operators.

Graduate with a 4-year or technical degree and at least 10 years’ experience in troubleshooting heavy land-based equipment.

• Extensive hands-on experience in troubleshooting heavy machinery.

Responsibilities

• Perform hydraulic and electromechanical repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot diesel engines, hydraulic and transmission systems.
• Determine parts and tools needed for repairs.
• Maintain LBE in optimum condition.
• Collaborate with LBE operators and technicians.
• Train electrical technicians through buddy system.
• Lead equipment overhauls and reconditioning of electrical parts.
• Support vendors in repair or maintenance activities.
• Evaluate vendor assessments and recommended parts/services.
• Identify parts for replacement.

This role involves diagnosing and fixing electrical and electromechanical issues, conducting regular maintenance checks, and preparing and assembling sub assembly parts of the equipment. Maintenance Specialist trains junior mechanics and technicians, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance team capabilities.

What you’ll do (your mission)

• Perform hydraulic and electromechanical repairs as well as preventative maintenance
• Troubleshoot issues with electromechanical system of diesel engines, hydraulic and transmission system.
• Determine parts and tools necessary to make repairs
• Maintain LBE in its optimum condition
• Works and collaborates with LBE operators and other technicians
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Train electrical technicians through buddy system
• Perform and lead equipment overhauling
• Recondition electrical parts assembly for spare availability
• Assist vendors or service provider's repair or maintenance activities
• Validate vendor's assessment before they recommend parts and services needed
• Recommend and identify parts for replacement

Educational Background

• Graduate of any 4 -year or technical courses

Professional Experience

• At least 10 years' experience in troubleshooting and repair of a heavy equipment and other land-based equipment
