Job summary

DigiPlus Interactive Corp. in Manila-area studios seeks an experienced Studio Technical Manager to oversee cameras, lighting, sound and editing equipment for live broadcasts and recordings.

You will lead and train technical staff, develop SOPs, coordinate with production teams, manage inventory, and help budget and procure equipment while ensuring compliance with industry standards and continuous technological improvements.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical equipment and systems in the studio (cameras, lighting, sound, editing).

• Train and supervise technical staff (camera operators, sound engineers, editors).
• Collaborate with production teams to meet technical requirements.

Job description

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Managing the technical equipment and systems in the studio, including cameras, lighting, sound recording, and editing equipment.
• Setting up and operating technical equipment for live broadcasts or recordings.
• Troubleshooting any technical issues that arise during production and finding quick solutions to minimize downtime.
• Developing and implementing standard operating procedures for technical equipment to ensure consistency and efficiency.
• Training and supervising technical staff, including camera operators, sound engineers, and editors.
• Collaborating with production teams to understand their technical requirements and provide technical expertise and guidance.
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards, protocols, and regulations regarding technical equipment and operations.
• Continuously researching new technologies and techniques to improve the studio's technical capabilities.
• Managing and maintaining inventory of technical equipment, ensuring proper storage, maintenance, and repair.
• Assisting in budgeting and procurement of new equipment as needed.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of working experience in Studio
• At least College Level or equivalent experience
• Strong technical background in studio operations
• Experience with various technical equipment and systems
• They should possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills and have the ability to work well under pressure
