Job summary

Ascendion is seeking a QA Lead in Metro Manila to head the testing team and drive quality across projects. You will lead planning, strategy, and execution of testing activities, mentoring engineers and ensuring robust test coverage.

The role emphasizes strategic testing deliverables, requirements and risk analysis, and proactive reporting to stakeholders. A strong background in manual testing and building automation strategies is preferred.

• Preparation of Functional, Automation and PerformanceTestPlan,TestStrategy documents,TestTraceability Matrix. Effort Estimation and planning oftestcase execution and Dashboard preparation. Defect tracking, Defect analyzing, Report generation and Defects triaging and preparation of RCA. Review ofTestStrategy document, Traceability matrix andTestcases. Responsible forTestCertificate andTestClosure Document.

Roles & Responsibilities

• The role is accountable forleading, developing, and ensuring the effective running of theTesting Team.

• Ensuring the appropriate processes, controls which are in place are being adhered to.

• Develop or assist in developing strategic/tacticaltesting deliverables such asTestStrategies & Plans.

• Perform requirements analysis and quality risk analysis.

• Monitor and report ontestprogress & status to project management and stakeholders.

• Oversee the development oftestconditions/scenarios and traceability matrices for multiple teams.

• Leadand coachmanualtesting analysis and design.

• Develop Automation strategy to support regressiontesting based on the technical analysis, complexity and reusability.

• Monitor and report ontestprogress & status to project management and stakeholders.

• Oversee the identification and preparation oftestdata.

• Manage tasks and assignments of team members.

• Monitor and manage completion of assignedtesting scope and deliverables.

• Maintain a solid understanding of softwaretesting best practices, methodologies and terminology.
