Job summary

Canon Business Process Services is seeking a seasoned Product Owner to drive the vision, roadmap, and value realization for digital, data, analytics, and AI capabilities.

You will translate client and business needs into clear requirements and maintain a prioritized backlog, collaborating with engineering and business stakeholders through discovery, development, launch, and adoption in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in product ownership, product management or digital product development.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum practices and product success metrics.
• Experience with cloud data platforms, data warehouses/lakehouses and BI/analytics environments.

Job description

Owns the vision, roadmap, priorities, and value realization for assigned digital, data, analytics, and AI products or capabilities. Translates client, user, and business needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria and maintains a prioritized product backlog. Balances customer impact, business value, risk, effort, and technical dependencies to guide delivery decisions. Partners with engineering and business stakeholders through discovery, development, launch, adoption, and continuous improvement, using Agile/Scrum practices as appropriate.

• Define and communicate product vision, roadmap, target outcomes, success measures, and priorities in alignment with business and customer needs.
• Conduct stakeholder and user discovery; translate needs into requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and a clear, prioritized backlog.
• Prioritize features and tradeoffs based on customer impact, business value, risk, effort, dependencies, and available investment.
• Partner with engineering and other teams throughout planning, development, testing, release, and validation to ensure solutions meet intended outcomes.
• Monitor adoption, performance, user feedback, and value realization; communicate product decisions and continuously refine the roadmap and backlog.

Jo Qualifications:

• Can work in a Hybrid environment and in a Night-shift schedule
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, Product Management, or related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• Strong leadership and management skills
• At least 5 years of related experience in product ownership, product management, digital product development, software, data, analytics, AI, or related disciplines.
• Knowledge of product lifecycle management, customer/user discovery, requirements definition, prioritization, roadmap development, Agile/Scrum practices, and product success metrics; CSPO or similar certification may be preferred.
• Experience with Agile/ALM product management tools; familiarity with software development, data, analytics, integration, and AI concepts preferredxperience with cloud data platforms, data warehouses/lakehouses, SQL, data modeling tools, ETL/ELT and orchestration technologies, APIs, and BI/analytics environments.
• Familiarity with programming, automation, and AI/ML data requirements preferred.
• Strong leadership, prioritization, analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills; ability to make clear tradeoffs and drive cross-functional alignment.
