Job summary

Citic Securities International is seeking a Research Associate/Research Assistant to support the Head of Technical Analysis Research with analytical and reporting duties. You will handle market data across equities, indices, currencies, and rates, build charts, dashboards, and indicators, and draft client-ready notes.

The role emphasizes strong Excel/Python abilities, detail orientation, and the ability to communicate technical findings clearly.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree or above in business related discipline, preferably with finance.
Strong analytical skills.
Strong understanding of financial modelling.
Strong excel/spreadsheet skills.
Attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure when required.
Excellent interpersonal sensitivity.
High sense of commercial awareness.
Excellent command of both written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

Gather, clean, and organize market data across equities, indices, sectors, currencies, and rates.
Assist in building and updating charts, dashboards, and technical indicators.
Monitor price action, trends, momentum, support and resistance levels, and key breakout or reversal signals.
Support the Head of Technical Analysis Research with written commentary, presentation decks, and client-ready notes.
Maintain research databases, watchlists, and recurring market update materials.
Help prepare thematic and event-driven technical reviews.
Contribute to ad hoc analysis requests and cross-asset market observations.
