Job summary

Chevron Philippines Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer Technical Lead to drive technical strategy across digital products.

You will lead a cross-functional team, define roadmaps, and ensure architectures meet business goals while delivering scalable, reliable solutions. The role requires strong leadership, deep hands-on experience in multiple technologies, and the ability to collaborate with product managers to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
Advanced degrees or certifications in relevant areas are advantageous.
At least 5 years of experience in a technical lead or similar role.
Proven track record leading teams toward valuable outcomes.
Development experience in .NET C#, Python, Node.JS, or Angular; hands-on with IT applications/systems such as ServiceNow or Workday.
Proficiency with SQL databases, Linux/Unix, Windows Server; cloud experience with Azure.

Responsibilities

Define the technical roadmap including architecture and standards for long-term sustainability.
Lead the technical delivery team to complete work on time and on budget with high quality.
Design and review architectures for new features in alignment with product strategy.
Monitor performance and optimize for better user experience and reliability.
Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate needs into technical solutions.
Oversee quality assurance and ensure IT operations reliability and resiliency.
