Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Technical Lead to guide technical teams through the full project lifecycle in a hybrid work setup. You will coordinate engineering activities, mentor engineers, and ensure successful delivery from planning to handover while engaging customers and stakeholders.

This role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, adherence to quality and cybersecurity standards, and proactive risk management in a global environment. Strong English communication is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Electrical/ Electronics/ Telecommunications/ Computer Engineering) or related.
  • Experience leading technical teams in customer-facing projects.
  • Experience coordinating project execution, installation, testing or commissioning.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience managing technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ability to identify and resolve technical risks and issues.
  • Knowledge of quality, safety and cybersecurity practices in project delivery.
  • Proficiency in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

  • Support project planning and execution activities with the Project Manager.
  • Coordinate technical teams and align requirements across stakeholders.
  • Maintain effective communication with customers during project execution.
  • Monitor progress, risks and technical issues to ensure timely resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with company processes, quality standards and cybersecurity requirements.
  • Coordinate installation, testing, verification and commissioning activities.
  • Lead preparation and management of technical project documentation.
  • Oversee project handover and knowledge transfer.
  • Capture lessons learned and pursue continuous improvement.
  • Mentor and support Technical Leads and team members.

Your background

  • Experience coordinating project execution, installation, testing, or commissioning activities.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience managing technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ability to identify and resolve technical risks and issues.
  • Knowledge of quality, safety, and cybersecurity practices within project delivery environments.
