You will apply global design standards, coordinate with clients and contractors, and deliver technically robust reports and proposals. Extensive experience and a track record in design review and quality assurance are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering preferred; licensure highly regarded.
• Minimum 15+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong bridge design experience and familiarity with Philippine Codes, AASHTO, Australian Standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice and undertake key complex technical tasks with a high degree of independence across projects.
• Monitor and manage scope and risk of multiple projects of varying size and complexity and apply applicable business systems.
• Apply high level skills in safety in design practices and processes.
• Deliver best client outcomes which have resulted in cost savings.
• Build technical capability of others.
• Prepare complex technical reports and successful proposals on small, medium, and large projects.
• Utilise excellent time management skills with the ability to efficiently plan workloads and meet deadlines.
• Effectively work across a variety of projects while continuously learning and applying new skills.
• Effectively manage client relationships and expectations.
• Provide supervision and coaching to other staff.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Civil Engineering (MSCE) preferred.
• Licensed Civil Engineer preferred.
• Minimum 15+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong experience in bridge design.
• Experience in structural design and design review.
• Experience in technical review and quality assurance of structural designs and engineering deliverables.
• Proficient in ETABS, MIDAS, and Revit.
• Experience reviewing and checking structural calculations, design drawings, and BIM models.
• Familiar with Philippine Codes, AASHTO, Australian Standards, and relevant specifications.
• Experience working in an engineering consultancy/consulting environment preferred.
• Experience with international consulting firms is an advantage.
• Overseas experience with exposure to international design standards and specifications is an advantage.
• Candidates with strong local bridge design experience are also acceptable.
• Exposure to technical leadership, bidding/proposals, commercial reviews, and client management.
