Job summary

Intro Recruitment Asia is seeking a hands-on Technical Director to drive high-level technical delivery, client management, and team leadership across its major buildings portfolio while remaining actively involved in engineering design and execution.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in engineering with senior leadership, deep knowledge of the Australia/NZ market and AS standards, and eligibility for Chartered registration, with openness to expatriate applicants.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of engineering experience with senior technical leadership.
• Proven ability to lead strategy and client relationships while remaining actively engaged in technical delivery and design execution.
• Deep understanding of the Australia/New Zealand building sector and Australian Standards (AS).
• Leadership on major building developments (high-rise/mixed-use, hospitals, data centres, or educational facilities).
• Chartered status (CPEng / NER) or eligibility for registration.
• Strong executive communication, client engagement, and mentorship skills.
• Open to expatriate candidates and international applicants eligible for Australian working rights and professional registration.
