Job summary

CRS Philippines is seeking a Resilient Shelter Coordinator to provide technical advice, coordinate with government partners, and support urban development design and implementation in line with CRS standards and donor guidelines.

You will lead the resilient shelter pilot, work with LGUs and DHSUD, and contribute to climate-resilient land use planning while ensuring high-quality program delivery and learning across projects. Travel up to 30% may be required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in urban development or related field is required.
• At least 3 years of international NGO experience in climate resilience and urban development.
• Knowledge of land use planning (CLUP) and climate risk assessments.
• Experience in program design and proposal development.
• Strong writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of agency-wide strategies, standards, tools and best practices in Urban Development and Resilience.
• Provide technical solutions to CP teams and partners for planning and standards adherence.
• Contribute to development of technical designs for proposals and assist in donor engagement.
• Lead capacity strengthening initiatives through trainings and coaching.
• Collect and share lessons learned to improve decision-making and scale best practices.
