Job summary

Wonderzyme Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic IT Intern to join our Help Desk & IT Support team in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila. This full-time internship offers hands-on exposure to IT operations, user support, and technical troubleshooting in a dynamic business environment.

You will gain practical experience by assisting with software installations, basic network diagnostics, and maintaining IT equipment inventories while collaborating with senior staff and documenting procedures for end users.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems and software applications.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with diverse users.
• Ability to work in a team and follow instructions.
• Organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and concepts.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems (preferred).
• Basic networking principles and IT security awareness (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person assistance
• Troubleshoot and resolve common hardware and software issues
• Document and track support tickets using the company's helpdesk management system
• Assist with the installation and configuration of software applications and operating systems
• Perform basic network diagnostics and connectivity troubleshooting
• Support the maintenance and organisation of IT equipment inventory
• Assist senior IT staff with on-site support visits and deployments
• Contribute to the creation of technical documentation and user guides
• Escalate complex issues to senior technical staff when necessary
