Optum in the Philippines leads healthcare technology initiatives. We seek an IT Project Manager to manage end-to-end projects from initiation to closure, define scope, deliverables, timelines, and resources, and maintain detailed plans.
You will coordinate clinical, administrative, business, and IT teams, monitor risks, enforce SDLC standards including HIPAA, and report progress to leadership. Familiarity with MS Project and ServiceNow is a plus.
Manage end-to-end healthcare technology projects from initiation through implementation and closure.
Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans and project schedules.
Coordinate with clinical, administrative, business, and IT teams to gather and document requirements.
Monitor project progress, risks, dependencies, and issue resolution activities.
Develop and execute risk mitigation and contingency plans.
Facilitate project meetings, stakeholder discussions, and governance reviews.
Provide regular project status updates and executive reporting to leadership teams.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, audit requirements, and organizational standards.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, lessons learned, and project records.
Track project activities using project management tools such as Microsoft Project and ServiceNow.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and PMO best practices.
Manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining delivery quality and stakeholder satisfaction.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
3+ years of IT Project Management experience, preferably within a healthcare environment.
Experience managing end-to-end technology projects and coordinating cross-functional teams.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with experience supporting onshore clients.
Experience using project management tools such as Microsoft Project, ServiceNow, or similar platforms.
Basic understanding of IT Infrastructure and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong customer service orientation and collaborative teamwork skills.
Experience in project planning, risk management, issue management, and status reporting.
PMP Certification or equivalent project management certification.
Experience working in Agile project environments.
Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards such as HIPAA.
Experience supporting healthcare technology initiatives involving clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.
Exposure to PMO governance and project delivery best practices.
