Job summary
Region 9 School of Applied Technology in Mexico, Maine, seeks a Computer Technology/Automation Engineer Technician Instructor to begin August 2026. You will teach IT Fundamentals to Computer Technology I and guide Computer Technology II through technologies and cybersecurity, with hands-on automation work to enhance student learning.
The role requires Maine certification eligibility, teaching/supervisory experience, and CHRC eligibility on hire.
Qualifications
- Teaching (and supervisory) experience preferred.
- Eligibility to obtain Maine Department of Education certification.
- Criminal History Record Check (CHRC) eligibility upon hire.
Responsibilities
- Instruct Computer Technology I students in IT Fundamentals.
- Guide Computer Technology II students through wired/wireless technologies and cybersecurity.
- Incorporate hands-on experiences with automation equipment to support Automation Engineer Technician program.
