Job summary

iACADEMY is seeking a content specialist in the Philippines to develop engaging, audience-focused content for its School of Computing. You will craft stories across platforms, translate technical topics for diverse audiences, and collaborate with faculty, students, alumni, and industry partners.

Responsibilities include interviews, research, and producing polished editorial materials that highlight technology trends and real-world applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Computer Science, Information Technology, Multimedia Arts, or related field.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating content creation, writing, storytelling, or related creative work.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong research, writing, interviewing, and storytelling abilities.
• Ability to understand technology-related concepts and communicate them clearly to different audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop engaging, informative content that showcases the School of Computing, its programs, students, faculty, projects, activities, and achievements.
• Conceptualize, write, produce, and publish content for iACADEMY’s digital platforms (social media, website, campaigns, events).
• Translate complex computing topics into clear, accessible content for diverse audiences.
• Collaborate with faculty, students, alumni, and industry professionals to identify compelling technology stories.
• Conduct interviews and research to develop accurate content on computing and related topics.
• Write polished captions, articles, scripts, and educational materials.
• Develop content concepts that connect computing education to emerging technologies and real-world applications.
• Coordinate with Multimedia and other departments to produce multimedia content.
