Job summary

Sutherland is seeking a Team Manager – Insurance to lead our insurance claims support program. The role ensures quality service delivery and operational excellence, with hands-on leadership of an inbound contact center and disability insurance processes.

You will establish client and team communications, analyze data to drive improvements, identify training needs, and collaborate with stakeholders on promotions and updates. Onsite work in Taguig is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in any field is preferred but not required.
• 3+ years of experience as a team manager is required.
• 3+ years of experience in Disability or Life Insurance is required.
• 3+ years of experience in Inbound Contact Center is required.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and drive improvements.
• Excellent leadership, time management, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Onsite work in Taguig.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain communication with clients and/or team members; understand their needs, resolve issues, and meet expectations
• Produce solid and effective strategies based on accurate and meaningful data reports and analysis and/or keen observations that would impact the bottom line
• Identify the training needs that will equip the staff with fundamental skills and knowledge
• Have a thorough understanding of Disability and Life Insurance processes and related system tools used within the program
• Collaborate with stakeholders on a regular basis for changes in promotions and updates
• Conduct all defined and required process compliance and adherence to all team members, partners and third-party providers

As aTeam Manager – Insurance, you’ll play a key leadership role in ensuring quality service delivery and operational excellence for our insurance claims support program.

What You’ll Do

• Establish and maintain communication with clients and/or team members; understand their needs, resolve issues, and meet expectations

• Have a thorough understanding of the Short-Term, Long-Term, FMLA, and State Leave process related to Disability product and associated and medical terminologies, various system tools and operational procedures utilized within the program
• Collaborate with stakeholders on a regular basis for changes in promotions and updates
• Conduct all defined and required process compliance and adherence to all team members, partners and third-party providers

• Bachelor's Degree in any course (preferred but not required).
• 3+ years' experience as a team manager. (Required)
• 3+ years' experience inDisability or Life Insurance(Required)
• 3+ years' experience inInbound Contact Center(Required)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and drive improvements.
• Demonstrated leadership skills in team management and problem resolution.
• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
