Job summary

Conexus, a growing player in the food industry, is seeking a Tax Manager to oversee tax compliance, planning and reporting, ensuring regulatory alignment while supporting the company’s financial objectives.

The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise in Philippine tax regulations, BIR requirements, and hands-on experience with income tax, VAT, and withholding taxes; you will lead the tax team, manage audits, and advise on contracts and strategic transactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
• CPA certification preferred.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in taxation, with managerial or supervisory exposure.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws, BIR regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Hands-on experience with corporate taxation, including income tax, VAT, and withholding taxes.
• Experience managing BIR audits, tax assessments, and investigations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee tax compliance activities including filing and payment of tax returns and obligations.
• Manage corporate tax matters including income tax, VAT, withholding taxes, and other taxes.
• Ensure compliance with BIR regulations and government requirements.
• Review tax returns, schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documents for accuracy.
• Lead tax planning initiatives and recommend strategies to optimize tax position.
• Manage tax assessments, audits, and investigations with coordination with BIR.
• Monitor changes in tax regulations and assess impact on operations.
• Provide tax advisory and guidance to Finance and business units on transactions.
