Job summary

evoke is seeking a Tax Specialist in Metro Manila to support gaming tax, VAT, local taxes, and statutory compliance. You will work with the FSSC and Group Finance, handling filings, reconciliations, and data validation for multiple entities.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, timely reporting, and continuous process improvement, including automation and close support activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Philippine tax compliance and VAT.
• Experience delivering tax compliance across multiple entities in a shared services environment.
• Experience with tax and financial audit support and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and coordinate gaming tax, VAT, local tax filings and payments.
• Perform tax account reconciliations and resolve reconciling items.
• Maintain supporting schedules, working papers, tax records, and documentary requirements.
• Monitor filing and payment deadlines for compliance.
• Assist with tax audits and information requests from government bodies.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to collect and reconcile data for filings.
• Identify tax exposures and process issues and escalate to management.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end tax close tasks and reporting.
• Maintain tax process documentation and internal control records.
• Assist with process standardization and automation initiatives across the FSSC.
• Support tax-related projects assigned by the FSSC COE Tax Tower Lead.
