Job summary

MediCard Phils., Inc. is seeking an experienced tax professional to develop and implement tax strategies, manage tax accounting, and oversee filing and reporting to optimise liabilities for AIA group and ensure compliance with tax policy and regulatory requirements.

The role involves preparing tax records, researching upcoming legislation, and coordinating with external consultants to provide strategic tax advice to internal stakeholders across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in corporate tax planning and advisory.
• Strong knowledge of local tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Able to coordinate with external tax consultants and internal stakeholders.

MediCardis currentlylooking for assertive, dynamic and energetic individuals to fill up the following vacancy:

• Responsible for developing and implementing tax strategies, tax accounting and tax filing / reporting to optimise the tax paid by AIA and to ensure compliance with AIA group tax policy and statutory and regulatory requirements
• Prepare and maintain tax records, returns, reports, and other tax related materials
• Recommend alternative tax treatments to alleviate tax burden and devise legal means to minimise tax liability using thorough knowledge of tax laws and regulations
• Conduct research and analysis of existing and upcoming tax legislation to support AIA's tax planning and tax strategy
• Engage with external tax consultants to keep abreast of tax and regulatory developments and provide tax advice to internal stakeholders
