Atlas Copco Philippines Inc. is seeking a proactive Tax Manager / Tax Supervisor to ensure full tax compliance and advisory support for local regulatory requirements.

The role oversees daily tax activities, VAT claims, and audits, coordinating with external consultants and providing guidance to internal stakeholders. The position collaborates with Treasury and Finance teams, supports tax strategy implementation, and drives process improvements across tax reporting and controls.

Qualifications

• CPA is an advantage.
• 4-5 years of relevant experience in tax compliance, accounting, or finance.
• Experience handling LOA for large taxpayers.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws (VAT, withholding taxes, corporate income tax) and BIR regulations.
• Experience coordinating tax audits with external consultants.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate with external tax consultants on the preparation, review, and timely filing of all tax returns (income tax, VAT, withholding taxes, and other statutory filings).
• Maintain, reconcile, and review tax-related accounts and supporting documents for audit readiness.
• Manage local tax obligations, including municipal taxes and head office/branch requirements.
• Support regulatory filings such as SEC AFS, GIS, and other statutory submissions.
• Oversee VAT claims and refund applications and ensure compliance with BIR requirements.
• Coordinate tax audits and responses with external advisors.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and communicate updates to the Finance team.
• Provide guidance on tax implications of routine business transactions.
