Private Advertiser in the Philippines is seeking a Tax Manager to oversee tax compliance, planning, and regulatory reporting under BIR rules, ensuring timely filings and accurate disclosures. You will lead tax audits, manage relationships with regulators and external consultants, review provisions and reconciliations, and develop tax policies and controls.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy.
• CPA certification required.
• 3–5 years of progressive tax experience, with 1–2 years in a managerial capacity.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine taxation, BIR regulations, tax compliance, and statutory reporting.
• Experience handling tax audits, assessments, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficient in financial reporting, tax planning, and risk management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Experience in Retail or Shared Services industries is an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and oversee all tax compliance activities, including preparation and filing of national and local tax returns.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax reports and statutory requirements.
• Lead tax planning initiatives to optimize tax efficiency while maintaining compliance.
• Handle tax audits, assessments, and investigations with government agencies, particularly the BIR.
• Review tax provisions, computations, and reconciliations.
• Monitor changes in tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards, providing recommendations to management.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding tax-related matters and compliance requirements.
• Develop and implement tax policies, controls, and process improvements.
• Manage relationships with external tax consultants, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
• Lead, mentor, and develop members of the tax team.
