Job summary

Pioneer Your Insurance in Taguig, Metro Manila is seeking an experienced accounting professional to oversee tax accounting activities and supervise the mortgage loan processing cycle. The role focuses on accurate financial reporting and maintaining compliant records across accounts.

You will coordinate with internal teams, ensure timely deliverables, and guide a small team to optimize daily operations and accuracy in accounting entries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accountancy, finance or related field.
• Strong background in tax accounting and mortgage loan management.
• Experience with financial reporting and internal controls.
• Ability to supervise a small team and manage deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with solid analytical and communication skills.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee tax accounting activities and ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations and reporting requirements.

• Supervise the mortgage loan processing cycle and monitor the timely and accurate completion of transactions.

• Manage and monitor other special accounts to ensure proper documentation and accurate account records.

• Prepare, review, and analyze financial reports and accounting records.

• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of accounting entries and supporting documents.

• Coordinate with internal teams and relevant stakeholders to resolve accounting and loan-related concerns.

• Guide and supervise a small team to ensure efficient daily operations and timely deliverables.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Finance, or a related course.

• With at least 4–5 years of relevant accounting experience.

• With background in tax accounting and/or mortgage loan management.

• With experience or exposure to financial reporting.

• Able to supervise and manage a small team.

• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines.

• With good analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
