Job summary

Asure Software is seeking a Tax Filing Manager to lead the daily and quarterly filing operations within Tax Operations. You will supervise Filing Leads and Specialists, set priorities, manage SLAs, and ensure accurate paper and electronic filings, attachments, and reconciliations.

You will partner with Product, Development, and Client Services to prepare for new agencies and system changes. Responsibilities include training the filing team, overseeing Jira testing for changes, and reporting on

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of payroll tax filing experience with supervisory or management experience.
• Experience managing agency deadlines, filing SLAs, and high-volume cycles.
• Experience addressing e-file rejections and corrective actions.
• Experience overseeing bulk filer applications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily and quarterly filing operations across the team.
• Manage SLA performance and escalate risks to leadership.
• Ensure accurate paper/electronic filings, check attaching, and reconciliations.
• Coordinate with CSS/CSR and product teams for changes and readiness.
• Train and develop the filing team; oversee onboarding.
• Prepare and present filing performance and risk metrics to executives.
