Qualifikationen

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy.
• Certified Public Accountant.
• 1–3 years continuous experience in internal tax audit/tax compliance.
• 1–3 years experience in national tax/regulatory audit/compliance/advisory.
• Proficient in internal tax audit report writing.
• Experience handling BIR examinations and assessments.
• Capable of providing tax advisory and writing clear opinions.
• Direct collaboration with business units.

Aufgaben

• Understands the company’s business and identify tax risks and areas for improvement.
• Analyze, evaluate and quantify internal exposure, if any.
• Evaluate where the company may improve its accounting system on tax-related accounts.
• Identify tax compliance gaps and provide remediation suggestions.
• Contribute initiatives for tax savings.
• Leads the Business Unit’s monthly tax activities.
• Manage tax tasks: filing of returns, payments, and reconciliations.
• Monitor compliance to statutory reporting deadlines.
• Ensure corporate tax reporting and local statutory compliance.
• Keep abreast of regulation changes affecting tax matters.
• Handle BIR examinations from start to finish.
• Prepare/review schedules for submission to BIR.
• Review reconciliations and ad hoc tax projects.
