Job summary

Exodus Time Industries Inc. is seeking a Tax Compliance Officer in the Philippines to ensure full compliance with local tax laws. You will prepare, file, and pay taxes timely, and coordinate audits with the BIR and other agencies.

Strong knowledge of VAT, withholding tax, and income tax is required, with 2–3 years of relevant experience. The role requires attention to detail, independent work style, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or a related field.
• CPA certification is preferred, but non-CPA applicants are welcome.
• 2–3 years of tax compliance experience, preferably in the Philippines.
• Solid knowledge of the Philippine tax system and regulations (BIR processes, VAT, Withholding Tax, Income Tax).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and file all required tax returns (VAT, Withholding Tax, Income Tax, etc.) in accordance with Philippine tax laws.
• Ensure accurate and timely payment of all tax dues.
• Monitor changes in tax regulations and assess their impact on the company.
• Maintain proper documentation and records for all tax-related transactions.
• Coordinate and assist during tax audits, assessments, and investigations by the BIR and other government agencies.
• Provide guidance to management and relevant departments on tax-related issues.
• Reconcile tax-related accounts and ensure proper journal entries.
• Handle registration updates, renewals, and compliance requirements with BIR, LGUs, and other regulatory agencies.
• Support external auditors in tax-related matters.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance tax compliance and efficiency.
