Job summary

Linde Philippines, Inc. seeks a Tax & Compliance Officer to oversee tax filings, regulatory reporting, and audits with the BIR, SEC, LGUs, and other agencies. The role ensures full compliance and supports risk minimization while strengthening governance.

The candidate should have 3–7 years in Philippine taxation, preferably CPA, and strong Excel and ERP skills (SAP/Oracle/MS Dynamics/NetSuite). You will provide timely planning advice to management and help improve internal controls.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience in Philippine taxation, compliance, regulatory reporting & tax audit management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
• CPA and CTT certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Tax Compliance: oversee tax filings and regulatory reporting.
• Regulatory Compliance: ensure alignment with BIR, SEC, LGUs, and other regulators.
• Tax Audit Management: lead audits and coordinate with authorities.
• Tax Planning and Advisory: provide guidance on tax strategies.
• Internal Controls & Governance: strengthen internal controls and governance around tax processes.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual tax compliance reports.

Job description

• The Tax & Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring the company's full compliance with Philippine tax regulations, statutory reporting requirements, and government regulatory obligations. The role oversees tax filings, tax audits, compliance monitoring, and coordination with government agencies such as the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Local Government Units (LGUs), and other regulatory bodies. The position supports management in minimizing tax risks while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Required Qualifications / Experience

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
