Job summary

INSPI Philippine is seeking a Tax Compliance Officer in the Philippines to ensure timely BIR reporting, accurate financial records, and robust tax controls. You will file monthly, quarterly, and annual returns, prepare financial statements and income tax returns, and maintain compliant documentation.

The role also covers eSales filings, BIR forms, records storage, store coordination, audits, and ongoing tax planning with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in tax compliance, accounting, or audit.
• Strong knowledge of BIR regulations and reportorial requirements.
• Experience in preparing Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns.
• Familiarity with eFPS, eBIR Forms, and other BIR online systems.
• CPA is an advantage but not required.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Preferably able to start ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns and reportorial requirements with the BIR.
• Prepare Financial Statements, Income Tax Returns (ITR), and other related schedules.
• Ensure accurate submission of all BIR reports, alphalists, and compliance documents.
• Handle filing and monitoring of eSales reports and related compliance requirements.
• Prepare and issue BIR Forms 2316, 2307, and other tax-related certificates/documents.
• Maintain proper storage of tax records, ledgers, books of accounts, and supporting documents.
• Coordinate with retail stores regarding submission, reconciliation of sales reports and ledgers.
• Monitor deadlines and ensure timely submission of all tax and statutory requirements.
• Assist during BIR audit, tax mapping, LOA handling, and other tax assessments.
• Reconcile tax accounts and ensure accuracy of tax-related entries.
• Stay updated on new BIR regulations and compliance requirements.
• Assist management in tax planning and proper compliance procedures.
• Perform other accounting, taxation, and compliance tasks as assigned.
