Job summary

Paramount Life & General Insurance Corporation seeks a Tax & Compliance Assistant Manager to oversee our tax and regulatory compliance function. You will lead the Controllership Team within the Medical Division (Pacific Cross) and ensure timely, accurate submissions to BIR, IC, SEC, and LGUs.

You will work with regulators, external auditors, and internal stakeholders to continually improve compliance processes while coordinating year-end audits and financial statement preparation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy with CPA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in tax, accounting, or regulatory compliance; 3+ years in supervision.
• Strong experience in tax compliance, financial statements, and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee tax and regulatory compliance functions to ensure timely, accurate submissions.
• Support preparation and review of financial statements and coordinate year-end audits.
• Lead and mentor Tax & Compliance Analyst; review work for accuracy and timeliness.
• Coordinate with regulators, auditors, and internal stakeholders to maintain compliance.
