Job summary

Salvador LLanillo & Mijares Attorneys at Law is seeking a seasoned Tax Practice Lead to manage multiple operations and guide the delivery of high-quality tax services in compliance with laws and deadlines.

You will build client relationships, provide planning and consulting expertise, and lead a team through complex income tax matters, BIR advocacy, and regulatory research in a dynamic Manila environment.

Qualifications

• Managerial experience of 3–5 years.
• Background in auditing firm preferred.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

About the role

Lead and manage multiple operations of the tax practice area and to deliver quality tax services. Delivering a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within timeframe. Building relationships and interacting with clients to provide excellent planning, consulting and expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver quality tax/BIR advocacy services
• Provide innovative tax planning and review complex income tax returns
• Research on new/emerging tax regulations, memoranda, circulars, etc.
• Identify areas of tax risks/exposures as well as areas for tax savings and efficiencies
• Perform research, analysis, and interpretation of current tax laws

About you

• At least 3-5 years work experience in managerial capacity
• Preferably with background or experience in an auditing firm
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Results-oriented and can manage a team
• Ability to manage numerous simultaneous projects and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to remain calm and composed during times of uncertainty and stress
