Job summary

Aboitiz Power Corporation, a leading energy company in the Philippines, seeks a Tax Compliance Supervisor to lead tax reporting and optimization across distribution utilities and related units. This fixed-term, on-site role collaborates with DU teams to ensure compliance and drive efficiencies.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in Philippine corporate tax, strong Excel and BIR systems experience, and hands-on filing expertise. CPA is an advantage.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years total in Philippine corporate tax
• 1-2 years in direct supervisory capacity
• Hands-on experience preparing and filing BIR tax returns
• Experience with PEZA monthly reports and LGU compliance
• CPA preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Direct tax compliance filings and reports with the BIR, PEZA, and regulators
• Manage local government tax obligations and business permit renewals across locations
• Drive tax planning and educate stakeholders on new tax laws
