Job summary

DELICE FOOD INC. is seeking an experienced Accountant to maintain books, prepare tax returns, and ensure BIR compliance. You will handle end-to-end tax processes, prepare financial statements, and coordinate with government agencies for compliance and reporting.

The role involves managing AR/AP, cash flow, budgets, and fixed asset records, with interaction with auditors and internal departments to strengthen controls and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
• CPA preferred but not always required.
• Knowledgeable in BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, SEC, and LGU compliance.
• Experience in general accounting and tax compliance.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Microsoft Office, and SAP.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication with clients, auditors, and government agencies.
• High integrity and confidentiality in handling financial records.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and review books of accounts including journals, ledgers, and financial records.
• Prepare VAT, withholding tax, income tax returns, and other statutory filings.
• Handle end-to-end BIR compliance, including eBIRForms and related platforms.
• Prepare BIR documents such as Form 2307 and supporting schedules.
• Ensure alignment of books with BIR filings and reconcile tax accounts.
• Assist in BIR audit investigations and LOA cases.
• Prepare financial statements for internal reporting and audit readiness.
• Coordinate with government agencies for compliance and reportorial requirements.
• Manage AR/AP, bank reconciliations, and cash flow reports.
• Prepare budgets and maintain fixed asset records including depreciation.
• Support permit renewals and other LGU requirements.
• Monitor PH tax law updates and recommend process improvements.
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and internal departments on tax and accounting matters.
