Chromaesthetics Inc. in Cavite City is seeking a Tax Associate to support the Tax Accountant in tax accounting activities and ensuring tax compliance.

This role involves preparing and maintaining tax schedules, primarily related to income and associated taxes, while collaborating on projects and assignments within the Accounting and Finance Department. The duties include preparing tax returns, assisting with audits, maintaining tax records, and reconciling income tax balances and general ledger

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in tax compliance, preparation, reports and filing.
• Experience using Netsuite and/or accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare or assist in the preparation of tax returns, extensions and quarterly estimated tax payments, and other tax compliance, including but not limited to tracking all compliance and filing status.
• Assist with the preparation of quarterly and year-end income tax provisions and supporting schedules.
• Prepare and assist in the creation of documents to support internal/external auditors and Tax Accountant.
• Review accounts, activity, and prepare reconciliations of income tax balances (i.e. Income tax payable and deferred tax assets and liabilities) and general ledger accounts.
• Maintain and reconcile tax related accounts.
• Update of Company's Books of Accounts.
• Provide assistance on matters relating to tax audits and other compliance initiatives, including communications and responses with tax authorities and others where required.
