As an organization, we are united through trust as one inclusive group and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.
Role purpose
Based in Manila and working as part of Aon’s Pacific Talent Acquisition team, the Talent Acquisition Partner will deliver end-to-end recruitment for roles across ANZ. The role will act as a trusted talent adviser to hiring managers, People colleagues and business leaders, combining strong recruitment delivery with market insight, proactive sourcing and an inclusive, skills-based approach to help Aon attract and hire high-quality talent.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for assigned ANZ business portfolios and solution lines, from approved requisition and intake through sourcing, assessment, offer acceptance and onboarding hand-off.
- Lead detailed intake meetings with hiring managers to understand business priorities, role outcomes, essential skills, candidate profiles, timelines and assessment requirements; constructively challenge briefs where appropriate.
- Develop and execute fit-for-purpose recruitment strategies that reflect the role, available talent, location, remuneration, market conditions and agreed service expectations.
- Act as a trusted talent adviser to hiring managers, People Partners and business leaders by providing evidence-based market intelligence, pipeline insights and clear recommendations that support informed hiring decisions.
- Prioritise direct sourcing and proactively identify, engage and nurture active and passive talent through professional networks, referrals, talent mapping, social channels, internal mobility and targeted campaigns.
- Create sustainable pipelines for recurring, critical, niche and hard-to-fill roles, maintaining structured engagement plans for prospective talent.
- Prepare clear, compelling and inclusive job advertising and candidate messaging that accurately represents the opportunity, required skills, Aon’s values and employee proposition.
- Screen and assess candidates against agreed skills, experience and behavioural criteria, using structured and evidence-based methods to produce high-quality, diverse shortlists.
- Coordinate all interview and assessment activity, including scheduling participants, booking interview rooms or virtual meetings, confirming logistics, and preparing candidates and interviewers. Proactively anticipate scheduling conflicts, dependencies and potential delays, taking early action to maintain momentum and deliver a seamless experience for candidates, hiring managers and colleagues.
- Manage finalist due diligence, approvals, verbal offers, negotiation, pre-employment checks and written-offer coordination in line with Aon policy and relevant Australian requirements.
- Partner with recruitment coordination, People Operations, onboarding and other specialist teams to deliver an accurate and seamless transition from accepted offer to commencement.
- Deliver a consistent, responsive and inclusive experience for candidates and hiring managers, including clear communication with candidates who do not progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely records in Aon’s applicant tracking and HR systems, ensuring data quality, process compliance, appropriate handling of candidate information and a clear audit trail.
- Use recruitment technology, automation and AI-enabled tools responsibly to improve productivity, research and decision support, while applying human judgement, protecting candidate data and following Aon guidance.
- Monitor recruitment activity, pipeline health, ageing, source effectiveness, time-to-fill, service levels, candidate experience and other agreed measures; use insights to identify risks and improve outcomes.
- Escalate delays, approval bottlenecks, market constraints and delivery risks early, presenting practical options to keep recruitment moving.
- Use panel agencies selectively and in accordance with Aon’s supplier governance requirements when direct sourcing options have been appropriately explored.
- Support internal mobility, colleague referrals, recruitment marketing, employer-brand activity and relevant talent initiatives across Australia and the wider Pacific region.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, team capability, knowledge sharing and regional Talent Acquisition projects, including the adoption of inclusive and skills-based hiring practices.
- Build effective remote relationships and manage priorities across Australian time zones, aligning working patterns with stakeholder and candidate needs.
