Qualifications

• 4+ years of Systems Administration or IT infrastructure experience.

Prime System Solutions is looking for a skilled and motivated Systems Engineer to join our growing technical team. What You'll Be Doing

Systems Administration and Infrastructure Management

• Design, implement, configure, and maintain IT infrastructure, including Windows Server environments and enterprise systems.
• Administer and support Microsoft 365, Azure, and Microsoft Entra ID environments.
• Manage and maintain Active Directory, Group Policy, user accounts, permissions, and identity management.
• Support virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper‑V.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and infrastructure health to ensure reliability and operational efficiency.

Cloud and Microsoft Technologies

• Deploy, configure, and support Microsoft 365 services and Azure environments.
• Manage Microsoft Intune and endpoint management solutions.
• Implement and maintain Microsoft Defender and other endpoint and email security solutions.
• Support cloud migrations, infrastructure modernization, and Microsoft technology deployments.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing infrastructure through cloud adoption and automation.

Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Protection

• Implement and maintain cybersecurity best practices and security controls.
• Support security assessments, vulnerability remediation, and infrastructure hardening.
• Configure and troubleshoot firewalls, VPNs, access controls, and network security solutions.
• Monitor security alerts and investigate potential infrastructure and endpoint security issues.
• Ensure systems follow security standards and organizational policies.

Technical Troubleshooting and Project Delivery

• Diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure, server, cloud, and networking issues.
• Take ownership of escalated technical issues and drive them through resolution.
• Lead or participate in infrastructure upgrades, migrations, deployments, and modernization projects.
• Work directly with clients to understand their technical requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers when needed.

Documentation and Continuous Improvement

• Maintain accurate technical documentation, system configurations, and infrastructure diagrams.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and technical knowledge base articles.
• Identify opportunities to improve infrastructure performance, security, and operational processes.
• Ensure projects and assigned tasks are completed within agreed timelines and requirements.

• At least 4 years of experience in Systems Administration, Systems Engineering, or IT Infrastructure support.
• Strong hands‑on experience administering and supporting Microsoft 365 environments.
• Solid experience with Windows Server administration and troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, and user access management.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs, firewalls, and switching.
• Experience working with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper‑V.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving capabilities, particularly with complex infrastructure issues.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work directly with clients and technical teams.
• Strong documentation skills and the ability to manage multiple technical tasks and meet project deadlines.
• Willingness to learn new technologies, systems, and customer‑specific applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management solutions.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Defender and endpoint/email security technologies.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting and IT automation.
• Previous experience working in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or IT services environment.
• Experience handling infrastructure migrations, cloud deployments, and modernization projects.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft AZ‑104, AZ‑500, or equivalent certifications.

Work Arrangement

Location: ABDC Building, Quezon City, Philippines.
