Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced software developer to design, develop and test features across UI and Web Services. You will support Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket while delivering scalable RESTful APIs and analytics to improve performance and user experience.

The role requires 2–3 years in .NET/C# or Java, strong web tech skills, and familiarity with Atlassian tools. You will collaborate in sprints, create design docs, and coach users.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years experience with .NET, C# and/or Java.
• 2–3 years in web technologies including JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3.
• 1–2 years designing clean and scalable RESTful APIs.
• 2–3 years with transactional databases and SQL.
• Experience with Atlassian Jira, Confluence and Bitbucket.
• Understanding Jira/Confluence plugins, configuring, operating and troubleshooting.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test features spanning UI and Web Services.
• Produce maintainable code with unit tests.
• Participate in sprint planning and product direction.
• Support Atlassian tools including Jira, Confluence and Bitbucket.
• Create system design diagrams and process documentation.
• Provide end-user coaching and support to internal and external users.
• Manage deliverables and reporting for enhancements or tasks.
• Develop dashboards and metrics for performance reporting.
• Promote best practices and tool adoption.
• Adhere to process and audit standards.
