Job summary

IT Managers Inc. is seeking an Enterprise Data Platform Systems Analyst / Data Analyst in the Philippines. You will translate business needs into Azure Databricks solutions while upholding data governance standards and aligning with enterprise architecture.

You will collaborate with Business and Tech teams, design source-to-target mappings, and support end-to-end data/analytics projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Strong SQL is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Engineering or equivalent.
• 8–10 years in Systems/Data Analyst roles.
• 2+ years with Data Platform solutions (Azure/Databricks).
• End-to-end data/analytics projects using Agile and Waterfall.
• Strong SQL skills.
• IDMC experience is a heavy advantage.
• Coding in Python or Java is a plus.

About the role

The Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) Systems Analyst / Data Analyst bridges the gap between Business and Technology teams. You will translate complex business needs into functional solutions using the Microsoft Azure tech stack and Databricks while adhering to enterprise data governance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, perform data profiling, design functional specifications, create source-to-target mappings, and support conceptual/logical/physical data modeling.

• Design, review, and maintain Azure/Databricks configurations, integration components, deployment scripts, and system documentation.

• Coordinate releases, perform root-cause analysis for production defects, monitor data quality metrics, and optimize platform performance.

• Partner with vendors, system integrators, and internal delivery teams throughout the SDLC while supporting functional, SIT, UAT, and end-to-end testing.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

• 8–10 years as a Systems Analyst or Data Analyst (Minimum 5 years in IT development and system analysis).

• Minimum 2 years of experience with Data Platform solutions, tools, and platforms—preferably Microsoft Azure and Databricks.

• Hands-on experience in end-to-end data/analytics projects (data integration, migration, ETL/ELT, APIs) using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

• Strong SQL proficiency.

• Hands-on exposure to Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC) is a heavy advantage.

• Coding knowledge in Python or Java is a plus.
