Job summary

SLI Consulting Inc. seeks skilled Data Engineers to join an enterprise data platform initiative. You will build and optimize scalable data pipelines, ensuring platform stability and enabling analytics.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with end-to-end data projects, ETL pipelines, Databricks and Azure, plus Python/PySpark and SQL, with a solid grounding in data warehouse concepts and query optimization.

Qualifications

• At least one end-to-end data project experience is required.
• Hands-on ETL pipeline development is the primary screening criterion.
• Experience with Databricks and Azure is preferred; certification is a bonus.
• Solid Python and PySpark skills.
• Proficiency in SQL across MS SQL, MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Actual data engineering experience, not just support or operations.
• Strong understanding of data warehouse and data mart concepts.
• Experience with query optimization techniques.

Job description

We are looking for skilled Data Engineers to join our team for an enterprise data platform initiative. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience in end-to-end data projects, cloud-based data solutions, and modern data engineering tools.

You will be responsible for building and optimizing scalable data pipelines, ensuring platform stability, and supporting analytics and business intelligence initiatives.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• At least 1 end-to-end Data project experience (required)

• Strong hands-on experience building ETL pipelines/workflows (this is the primary screening criterion)

• hands-on experience with Databricks (preferred as a core platform skill) and Microsoft Azure (certification is an advantage)

• Solid experience in Python, PysSpark

• Proficiency in SQL (MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)

• Actual Data Engineering Experience (Not Just Support/Operations)

• Solid understanding of Data Warehouse and Data Mart concepts

• Experience in query optimization techniques

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working in enterprise data platforms

• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices in data environments

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
