Qualifications

About the role

The Enterprise Data Platform - Systems Analyst / Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing and supporting Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) solutions using Microsoft Azure tech stack and Databricks. The role serves as a key liaison between Business and Technology teams, translating business requirements into functional solutions that align with enterprise data governance standards and business objectives. The Systems Analyst / Data Analyst collaborates with Business Users, Data Stewards, Developers, Vendors, and Project Managers to deliver scalable and high-quality data platform solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct requirements analysis and translate business requirements into functional solutions

• Perform data modeling including conceptual, logical, and physical data model design

• Support integration analysis and data integration activities

• Coordinate deployment and manage data quality

• Provide production support for Enterprise Data Platform solutions

• Drive Customer 360 and data initiatives

• Support functional, system integration, user acceptance, and end-to-end (E2E) testing activities

• Work with Agile and Waterfall delivery methods

• Collaborate with Business Users, Data Stewards, Developers, Vendors, and Project Managers

• Identify and resolve issues related to data quality, integration, and platform performance

About you

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information systems, Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience

• Minimum 8 years of experience in IT development and system analysis

• At least 3 years of experience in Data Platforms solutions, tools, and platforms preferably Azure & Databricks

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure technology stack or similar Cloud solutions

• Hands-on experience in Data and Analytics projects involving data integration, data migration, ETL/ELT processes, APIs, system interfaces, Microsoft Azure Services and data validation activities

• Experience supporting testing activities, including functional testing, system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and end-to-end (E2E) validation

• Proven experience in data modeling, including conceptual, logical, and physical data model design

• Strong solution definition, analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to assess complex situations and make sound decisions under pressure

• Ability to communicate in both technical language with developers and business language with business partners

• Hands-on experience (implemented and completed at least 2 projects, end to end) on Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC), Cloud Data Integration and Cloud Application Integration

• Strong SQL proficiency for querying and manipulating databases

• Knowledge and experience of software development life cycle, agile methods and processes

• Experience and knowledge in coding in Python, SQL, Java is an advantage

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud technologies is an advantage
