Job summary

Fairchild Communication Systems, Inc. seeks a Full-time System Technician for our Toledo location. The role requires installing, repairing, and maintaining telecom, fire alarm, nurse call, security, and sound systems, with strong customer interaction.

You will coordinate with Project Manager/Administrator, document daily progress, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Training is provided for motivated candidates; a background check and driving record will be reviewed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of installation and/or service experience.
• Must be proficient in telecom installation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with customers and team members.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving history.
• Must pass a background check, Motor Vehicle Record check and drug screening.
• Experience with end users is preferred but not required.
• We provide training for motivated candidates.
• Experience with some of our main manufacturers is a plus but not required.
