ABS-CBN Corporation is seeking a System Specialist to monitor applications, automate systems, and integrate MAMS, Transcoders, and Subtitling Solutions to meet client requirements. You will assist with development, workflow documentation, and procedures for company systems.

Responsibilities include 2nd level support, configuring workflows, preparing monthly reports, managing user access, ensuring connectivity, and researching innovations in the digital platform landscape.

Qualificações

• Degree holders with 4-year course in relevant fields.
• Engineering or CS background preferred.
• Experience with media systems is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor daily operations of the identified systems.
• Provide 2nd level support for MAMS, Transcoders, and Subtitling Solution.

The System Specialist is responsible for the daily monitoring of all applications, systems automation and integration of the company’s identified system/s such as MAMS, Transcoders, and Subtitling Solutions to ensure that services and requirements of the clients are met. Also assist with application development, workflow documentation and procedures for Company’s identified system/s.

1. Handles overall functionality and provides 2nd level support of the Company’s identified system/s such asMAMS, Transcoders, and Subtitling Solution.

2. Administers and secures downloading requests, video standards conversion, transcoding, and uploading / delivery of digital materials to various repurposing platforms.

3. Configure workflow, migration rules, and file format specifications required by clients.

4. Prepares monthly summary report of digital media conversion, transcode and delivery requests & ensures that all approved requests are credited to the company.

5. Prepares technical records, administers client’s media storage allocation/capacity and monitors media content delivery/transaction of the Company.

6. Administers, validates and monitors user profile & access rights of all users of the Company’s identified system/s such as MAMS, Transcoders, Subtitling Solution, etc.

7. Ensure MAMS and/or other Company’s identified system/s connectivity on Tapeless environment (POST, TOC, BQM, Digital Platform).

8. Assist in research for the latest changes and innovations within the digital/online platform landscape, media technology advancements and business reporting tools.

9. Prepares, analyzes and reviews policies, procedures & workflows in accordance with thedefined goals, objectives, and work standards of the company prior to its implementation.

10. Monitors, analyzes and validates the performance of all systems and suggests appropriate enhancements for the improvement of the company’s operations.

11. Formulates training guidelines, demonstrates and cascades skills & expertise to staff.

12. Handles inquiries related to theCompany’s identified system/s such as MAMSgeneral processes and use of the other system applications.

13. Provides periodic summary reports on all system-related issues & concerns and recommended changes or action steps if applicable.

14. Ensures that all queries & assistance needed by the clients are met and customer feedback & complaints are monitored and addressed in order to continually improve the effectiveness of the company’s system & to meet the requirements of clients.

15. Complies with the corrective actions in order to eliminate causes of nonconformities encountered to prevent its recurrence.

16. Assists in the formulation of preventive actions to eliminate the causes of potential nonconformities in order to prevent their occurrence.

17. Performs any other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS

Education

• College Graduate (4-year course)

• BS Industrial Engineering, Electronics and Communication,

• Computer Engineering or Computer Science graduate preferred

Skills

• Expert in MAMS, broadcast, digital media and online delivery/distribution

• Proficient in different IT Software Applications/Systems Analysis and Design

• Has the ability togenerate process workflows, project reports, minutes and status reports

• Expert in computer operations (spreadsheet, word processing and database system)

• Advance Flowcharting

• Basic HTML Programming

• Proficiency in:

  • Windows PowerShell and Linux command line functions

  • Experience with CI/CD workflows.

  • Python

  • Git

  • AI and Cloud Infrastructure

• Flexible and can work with minimum supervision

• Good oral and written communication skills
